Our kids' tennis lessons can start you on the first steps of your tennis journey or develop your technique and tactics at the very highest level. Or anything in between! Our coaches will share their passion for the game to help you learn, improve and enjoy tennis as much as we do.
We offer term-time Hot Shots group lessons and Talent Development Squads for advanced players. In the school holidays, our Holiday Clinics are suitable for all ages and abilities, while league players can get prepared with our Holiday Training Squads. (For information on playing Junior Pennants, go to our Pennants page.) Private lessons are available all year round. Juniors can also practise and play socially at the Saturday-morning Junior Club.
We follow Tennis Australia's Hot Shots pathway using modified equipment and low-pressure balls, which makes it easy for kids to rally and grasp correct court positions at an early age.

This is an introductory tennis program using Hot Shots equipment including low-pressure tennis balls. Children are guided through the early learning stages in a fun, organised environment.

Children are guided through all tennis strokes including forehand, backhand, volley and serve. We also introduce tactical play, the rules of the game and court etiquette.
Students will be placed in groups according to age and standard.

Holiday Clinics run every week of school holidays throughout the year except for the last week in December and first in January.
Our Holiday Training Squads are designed for everyone - from kids wanting to keep up their training volume during the holidays, to first-time and experienced Pennant players, and even those currently competing in tournaments. These sessions provide the perfect mix of practice matches, technical and tactical coaching during play, and the chance to connect with other junior members of the club.

The ultimate learning experience and best way to progress quickly - let one of the Tennis Approach coaches assess your game and get you heading in the right direction. These lessons can target any technical and tactical areas of your game that need improvement and can also be a great fitness workout.

Cottesloe Tennis Club conducts junior social play on Saturday mornings from 10.00am to 11.15am, with organised match play and tennis games. This provides a fun social environment whilst the kids learn about match play, scoring and tennis etiquette.
Sausage sizzles, theme days and prizes are regular attractions on the Junior Club calendar.
